This abridged training has been created to support parents, classroom aides and tutors who are delivering Read3 sessions under the guidance of a licenced Read3 professional.
The assumption within this training is that resources and instructions required for weekly sessions are being provided by the supervising speech pathologist and/or the family of the child you support. As a result, this online learning does not include details on program set up or website navigation. Examples of resources have been included so you can familiarise yourself with key games during training without having program access.
Across the three sections you will explore:
- Overview of the Read3 approach
- Routines and Games
- Monitoring & Performance Tracking
Sections 1-2 will familiarise you with what needs to happen in the daily routine. The estimated time for completion of Sections 1-2 is approximately 1 hour. If you wish to practise playing games during your training please allow extra time.
Section 3 explores additional monitoring tools including skills assessment and fluency tracking. You may wish to watch this session at a late time once you are familiar with the daily routine. Estimated time for completion of Section 3 is 40 mins.
Access to this training will be available for four weeks.
