The following documents provide a curated listing of complete decodable series and how they align with the Read3 Scope and Sequence.
Given the unique sequence of Read3, these lists will be particularly useful when selecting readers to support students completing Modules 2 & 3.
Each document includes:
- titles sorted by Read3 Step
- titles sorted by Series Set
To help you make decisions about suitability of each title, we have provided comprehensive details including:
- CCVCC Words: to guide choices when children are following alternate pathways (ie M3.1 ahead of M2)
- Extra Words: words that do not match code taught at that point in the Read3 Program
- HFW: High Frequency Words (early steps) or
- Extra HFW: High Frequency Words that have not been covered so far in the Read3 Program
- Additional comments or guidance as needed
