Read3: created by experts, delivered by you.

The Read3 program requires no specialist training. We've done the hard work for you. It can be delivered at home by a parent or carer, or at school in a learning support setting by a teacher aide. Educational services assisting children with dyslexia, such as tutoring services and speech pathology clinics can now offer Read3 as a learning system for their most ‘at-risk’ clients.

The basis of the Read3 program comes from pulling together 20 years of scientific research into how the reading brain works and trialling and adapting strategies for children with severe reading disorders in a clinical setting. This was no easy task, we can tell you!

The next step was to bring these strategies together into a format that is simple to understand and easy to execute. Read3 focuses on strengthening 3 core skills:

Lessons are carefully sequenced and work to build these cores skills in every session. All instructions, materials and games are included. Best of all, you can deliver this program at a pace that suits your child's unique needs. We are confident Read3 will be a different learning experience for you and your child.

Practice daily

Having a caring and committed adult is vital for reading progress to occur. Regular practice is essential – a minimum of 20 minutes a day, 5 times a week is recommended.

Module-based system

We have divided the reading program into modules and steps which enables us to introduce children to the alphabet slowly and focus on mastery at every stage for early reading success. Quite simply, if your child can’t automatically recall the content of their current module step, they aren’t ready to move on to the next step.

Life with kids is very busy so we’ve made the Read-3 lesson structure as simple as possible. Each day you’ll be working on the 3 core skills with your child. Our lesson plans are easy to follow and include direct links to all materials you will need. There are a range of activities to choose from within each lesson to help keep your child interested and motivated.

Keep it fun

School is already stressful for many of these children, so we aim to make lessons anything but! Daily games, not workbooks, are the foundation of our learning system. Within each module we offer a variety of multi-sensory games and activities that build the foundations of reading step-by-step. Flip a card, cut up a rhyme strip, toss a dice and watch your child’s understanding improve.
